The Lion Cub Chronicles follows the work and research of Lion – an anonymous researcher baking specially treated industrial diamonds with nickel powder in LENR test kits.
Video – LION is using commercial abrasive diamonds bonded onto Nickel pads – the whole fuel preparation process is explained clearly, though more details are always useful, and will be released. The diamond pads are soaked in D2O (heavy water) and variously baked – the processes described in the video – and then simply wrapped into a bundle with copper wire inside one of our alumina fuel tubes….
The evolution of reactor designs has lead to a fifth generation LENR reactor. This reactor design builds upon Differential Scanning Calorimetry. Instead of using one PUS to heat up the reactor ports in serial the model features two PSUs that allows the researcher to hold a very accurate temperature variance. In case of an excess heat event this design allows the researcher to plot out how much excess heat has been produced in Watts.
During this fuel preparation experiment we subjected 20 micron nickel powder to 12 hours of ultrasound bombardment at low temperature. During the course of the Sonication, the flask containing the nickel was alternately vacuumed and flushed with pure hydrogen. The purpose of this experiment was to remove surface oxides from the nickel and adsorb hydrogen into the metal matrix.
Based on the discussion document we are now releasing a ‘best case protocol’ for the cleaning and loading. Our intention is to follow up with a video of the Ultrasonic Treatment and Hydrogenation, and possible a live-streamed experiment where we test the recipe in a ‘Friendly Robot LENR Reactor’ with add-on for pressure control.
We shipped an LENR Test Kit to Russ Gries from RWGresearch, he then put together and posted an unboxing video, showing what was in the package and giving feedback on assembly. As always, the most valuable we have is the collaboration and feedback from others – so big ups to Russ! According to his YouTube channel, this video is only a Part 1 so we hope to get some more material from him later on.
